I may be reading this wrong but it looks like the Allies attacked the Japs this time:

Jim has more troops near Johore Bahru than I do and I'm not doing such a great job holding back his raiding parties on the ground. I
need to move some more troops into this AO. The 14th Division is headed this way, hoping for a landing at Mersing, but they are still
about 9 days travel time away. I may have to back up all my guys and hope I can hold on.

And then the Allies did their daily ground bombardment at Port Moresby:

I've got an AP docked at Tokyo and I need her to move some troops. The panel at the bottom shows the LCU's I have to chose from to
load into the AP. I'm going w/ the 88th Naval Guard dudes this time. Eventually most of this stuff will be moved out into the "field".

I turned the Balikpapan Refinery back on yesterday because the fuel level has dropped to about 77K which is nowhere near the fuel
limit of 129K so I'm thinking that the emergency has past and that now a couple of TK TF's will be all I need to service Balik.

One of my carriers has popped up with some minor major damage. Major damage but not much. I can't afford to repair it now it's busy
doing it's mission. But when it's been relieved I intend to ship it to Truk or somewhere to get it fixed.

I'm using an AV w/ a float plane to illuminate the Allied subs so the PB's can kill them. That's what you guys do right?

I just happened to notice just now that Jim has a couple of surface ships in my base hex. I'm going to have to go investigate this.

The 14th Division is still about 8 days away from Mersing. Hope my dudes can hold on that long.

TF 668 has left Tokyo w/ the 89th Naval Guard unit aboard and it's headed toward Guam because that's the generally right direction but
I haven't fully decided where to park this LCU yet. It's needed where I have some INF or ART LCU's that I could use elsewhere to provide
the garrison needed.

Here's some fresh combat results: And this one is a strange occurance.....the sub moves into attack position, gets hit once, and then
submerges. No attack. Huh.

I-29 gets lucky and gets a hit. There's lots of Allied traffic there, it was bound to happen sooner or later.

All that waiting finally paid off. A hit on an AK is worth waiting for.
