Germany rails the elite 8-1 GAR to Lisbon. Two other units are railed to the Ostfront. Italy rails a FTR into Lisbon too. Japan rails units towards Umezu in Siberia.

Japan improves positions at the Indian-Burmese border and moves aggresively towards Irkutsk:

Germany moves more units towards Spain and Portugal. In the USSR, units are moved into attack positions. Students PARA's, transported by Italians planes are dropped in the Urals:

Four attacks are declared in the USSR. The first attack is conducted by the Para's, in conjunction with the SS ARM. Von Rundstedt orders the Blitzkrieg table:

Von Manstein orders a Blitzkrieg attack. In the attacked hex there's also a disorganised Soviet FTR:

In the Ural Mountains, the Wehrmacht wants to eliminate the last defenders. The Political Commissar in charge orders the man to stand and fight, using the Assualt table. I forgot to make a picture of this attack. It was a +11, a 6 was rolled, resulting in a loss of an 8-4 German INF and the defending units. The attack force is disorganised.

Rommel orders a Blitzkrieg attack. He needs a breakthrough:

Italy rebases planes towards Spain. Umezu reorganises three units. Von Manstein reorganises five units.

Eisenhower, hearing of the total mess in which the US airborne army has landed, is astonished. The disruption of both corps means that the capture of the Portuguese coast can't be done. The units, waiting at sea can't be unloaded there. Also, the British TRS waiting in the UK were intended to pick up units in Morocco and put them in the captured coastline. This would add up to 5 corps, included Clark. Now this plan lies in shambles. This is a real disappointment, since the goal of this attack was to open a northern approach towards Gibraltar. And the fast reserves of the Wehrmacht in the area are quickly approaching the beachhead...

Bomber Command sends out a Blenheim to bombard Dresden. Again, there are no Luftwaffe FTR's available:

Beria moves his government from Omsk to Tashkent. Vatutin is railed towards that area too. The Soviet positions are really, really bad in the Urals region. There is no front anymore, just heroes of the Soviet Union:

The US decides to put more and more units into Morocco to see if they can outflank the defenders:

May/June 1943, Axis impulse number 7:

All Axis powers take land actions. Italy flies a FTR into the Cape St. Vincent. However, since the Axis have chosen land actions, they can't initiate combat. The Wallies decide that they want to fight in the sea area. Allies roll 8, Axis roll 3. The Axis decide to spend 4 surprise points to decrease the air-to-air column of the Wallies:

To no avail. After the loss of the Italian FTR, the Axis bombers decide to abort the fighting. Before the next round, Germany adds another FTR's. Allies roll 5, Axis roll 6, ending the combat.

Von Bock orders the Stuka's to ground strike a hex in Morocco. The US reacts by sending over FTR's and the Luftwaffe intercepts:

After the Stuka gets cleared through, the German FTR decide to abort. Bombs away:

The Luftwaffe decides also to ground strike positions in the USSR. The first near Sverdlovsk:

The Berlin MIL is railed to Prince Paul. Von Leeb rails from Murmansk in the Kazakhstan Desert. Italy rails a MECH into Sevilla. Japan rails an INF from Singapore into Northern Siam.

Japan moves more units towards Irkutsk and improves positions. No attacks are declared. In the Tashkent area, the Italians move towards the ciy of Samarkand. In Spain and Morocco, positions are strenghtened. Tante Ju transports the Italian PARA into action in Morocco. Fighter Command reacts and the Luftwaffe sends over a Messerschmidt too:

After the ATR is cleared through, the Luftwaffe aborts. Von Bock personally leads the attack on the US units. In Portugal, an attack is declared on the US Airborne army too. Where will the battlefleet aid the defenders. A little of both, or all or nothing on the other. The US doesn't use the notional unit in Morocco, since the odds are worse with it than without it. The admirals of the fleet decide to aid the defenders in Morocco with all firepower. Clark aids the defending troops with extra supplies. A FW throws in ground support. Bomber Command send a bomber over too. Clark decides to use the Assault table:

Von Bock isn't that happy with the result of this attack. In Portugal, the US Airborne army is facing the elite Panzer of the Wehrmacht, which tries to blitz the Para's from the beaches:
