There's an Orthodox Cathedral in Daphne, AL, believe it or not. They had a sunrise service, this morning, in ancient Church Slavonic, to celebrate the birth of the Christ on this day. Xristos Iovisno!

It is quieting down here. I am the only one awake in the house at the moment. Even the dog is sleeping.

Watched "Metropolis" last night. Visually stunning animation work. Typical impenetrable Japanese anime plotline, of course. All in all, an 'interesting' piece.
