Minor bug discovered that air recon no matter the number of aircraft used will have max recon on all types of tiles, even on cloud forest with high rain levels within 5 hexes of its point of recon. (1.27a) This is not present on games started with older beta versions.

Goody. I am just ready to start a new game. The arrival of this beta will keep me from having to play one of the many games I have bought, but never played, lol. The changes to atomics are of particular interest. They are not what I thought I wanted, but let's give them a try and see how things go!!!
Edit: Later....And I'm off! As newly "elected" Dark President of Mordor, I shall explore this new v1.27b!!!

Just FYI after i installed the latest beta batch, windows defender gets triggered every time i run game exe.
Edit update: nevermind it stopped freaking out, seems fine now. How odd.

Raising the requirements for nuclear weapons is a good thing, but I don't think we've ever asked for that—what people have always wanted is to remove nukes altogether. Why not offer a se1 without nuclear weapons as an alternative game start when creating the game?

Just jumping on the idea of the split budget/empire dashboard which Regime reports could use the same treatment where Major/Minor empire report are split and easier to sort through.

Not really. I use diplo as little as possible and do not even activate the minister of espionage. Using them is just unfair to the AI.

It isn't marked with a *, so probably no new game.
But you definitely will need to pass a turn to get a new report by the new rules.

You could have explained yourself better with one more written line ... why is it unfair for the AI ?
Balancing the relations with neighbouring AI is a very big part of what makes the game interesting, preventing escalations when not ready, keeping things at peace when others are killing each other ... it adds lore and interest in otherwise very repetitive scenarios.
Structuring diplomacy related statagems and options in a better way would immensely help the game, maybe the AI should be able to play the same stratagems that would end up as an event -> forced peace for reason x on the human side.

Bump! Subversion E. Plenty of fixes and also started on giving morale a bigger role in combat.
Next open beta I'll continue on this as I believe its currently hard to end up with low morale.

I think army size might matter in calculating morale as having reserve troops to be able to rotate tired troops in battle, help push back in critical areas and a strength in numbers factor in order to keep troops happy.

Thank you for opening the new leader window when recruted. What would be perfect would be a previous/next leader button and, above all, a pop-up displaying faction profiles when hovering over it, instead of a useless description.
