I was going to use an I5 500 series processor. That Empire game needs a really good video card. That I need help with.

Same choice I had in January - I too chose option 2. Seemed like a good idea at the time. I have an interview next week for a new job - fingers crossed. Have you got something else lined up?

Empire runs very well on my GeForce GTX 295, which is hardly state of the art. All settings maxed out, no problem.
