I never was able to pick out JWE's sailboat on the Canal webcam.  The angle of the cam must have just been too high.  It really only picked up the tops of larger AK's.

Time to head out for dinner. [8D]

We yelled our heads off at the guy in the control tower to get us on the cam. But it's pretty rainy here and he wasn't opening any windows. What a dork. Anyhow, we were right behind the trash hauler that locked up about 1915 Z (about 2:15 local).

It was still fun looking for you, John. Then, I started searching the internet for Andrews sailboats and saw some nice pictures. [:D]

Have a safe Pacific leg! [8D]

Back from a nice dinner, and off to hit the rack.  I get to start making up for my vacation last week very early in the morning tomorrow.  [8|]

Good night, my brothers.  [>:]

Picked up a mooring at the end of the lake in Arena bay. Said good bye to our cement truck; at least she was loaded and had her props deep. Start locking down in the morning. God only knows who we get for that part. I'm praying desperately for a centerline for us along with a lock full of some other "casuals", but it's so unbelieveably flippin busy here. I never knew there was this many boats in the world!! Woof!!

We'll probably fantail fly off some Liberian guano carrier tomorrow. Poo. Still raining. Country looks nice. Our Pilot is Chuck Noriega, yeah Noriega, in Panama. A real pro. Loved the boat, knowledgeable as hell, and has that special Spanish way about dealing with stuff. I would definitely sail with this dude. He left when we took the mooring, but we gave him $100 to make sure he's our Pilot for the down locks. If you ever do the ditch and are of a size to need a Pilot, there ain't no more mellow dude than Chuck Noriega.

Ok, one more Merlot, and off to beddy-bye. [>:][>:]

Ciao. John

I was, and I went back again last night [:D] Join the RAF and see the world* [:D] It seems that there are some rather unpleasant gentlemen in that particular region of the world and things have come to an unfortunate outburst of fisticuffs [:(]

You should try it in submarines. Join the Navy and see, er, the inside of a steel tube. And, no we won't tell you where you've been.
