Back from the Big Smoke [8D]  I probably took almost as many pics on the way back to Paddington as I did during the previous three days [:D]

Train spotting?

Nothing that glamourous [:D] Took a few pics of some birds in Hyde Park, Buck House, Wellington Arch, The Aussie War Memeorial, the RA memorial and some brown jobs on horses.

EDIT: If you're into trains though, our room had a view across Waterloo East station across to St Paul's Cathedral.

Feathered?

Sadly, yes. The unfeathered variety, although present in abundant numbers, were not worth getting trouble over. Not even the young lassie in Hyde Park sunbathing sans top (face down mind).

Were you at the Union Jack Club?

Aye, first time I've stayed there and I wish I'd done it before now.

Dixie,

Thanks for sharing the pictures. I must say that I've seen more complete restorations than this one, however. Did they have any complete aircraft on display?

And my favourite, Lancaster. Just a shame it's not attached to the rest of the airframe.

Spitfire MkI, P-51D, FW-190A-8, He-162, Sopwith Camel, BE2.

Parts of the Zeke, Hallifax and Lanc cockpits as well. Plus V-1 and V-2.

Sounds nice. Do you have any pictures of those?

A few, didn't take many though. And none of the P-51, I've seen loads of those and it's in a difficult position to get a good pic.

Camel and BE2c
