I used to do model railroading. With CP it took me longer to do everything............ track laying, sceenery, kit building. When the kids came along I did not have the time. Now I enjoy it by reading the model magazines and visting tourist railroads and such when time permits. I am happy.[8D]

Hello gentlemen,
I am taking my turn tonight to spend with my Dad at the hospice facility.  He is getting very weak now and his passing will be a blessing as it is getting harder for the nurses to keep him comfortable.  They believe that the cancer is probably spreading into his lower spine by the way he is responding.  He can no longer see, swallow or speak.  He last ate on Friday and drank any water on Saturday.  All I can do now is talk to him and pray with him now, It seems to calm him.  Thanks again for all your prayers and support.  You just don't know how comforting it is for me.

Andy

I am sorry Andy. I just said a prayer for you guys. I know how tough this is. We lost my Father-In-Law earlier this year. And in the end we just wanted him to have a peaceful, pain free end.

We have to go to Legoland today.

Hi Simon. What is Legoland ? A park for children ?

You've never played with Lego?!!?! [X(]

Legoland is a park for children and their Dad [:D] It's Denmark's most famous export, T will tell you that everyone in Denmark is either in the Legomaking business or knows someone who is...

No, he won't...[:'(]

Well thank you Dixie for watching over us all ! We appreciate it.

You'll make me blush...

Well, mostly I watch over the engines on 'my' aircraft. When I've got time I like to drop in and check on you guys, even the foreigners amongst you [:D]

Maybe one day I'll be able to post some photos of some of the places I've been, but with security in mind it's a total no-no at the moment. I'm also pretty sure it's not a good idea to tell you about the interesting things that I sometime see as well, at least until I know they've been officially cleared.

Well I am sure we would like to know, but not at the expense of violating any offical secrets acts ![:D]

Hi Martin.
I remenber a joke about Lego, but can't tell it here because it is X-Rated and adult only [:D].
The question only was about Legoland, not Lego. I had a brawl with my younger brother 25 years ago because he tried to steel my Lego Ship [;)]

Happy memories of Lego [:D] I gave my little brother concusion once with Lego [:D]

Man with 3 kids it seems like I have bought millions of those things. I purchased a very detailed Star Wars set one year for my son as a christmas present ( of cousre I mean Santa Claus brought it [:)] ). We spent many happy hours buling that ship.

Sell that that townhouse. Buy a 3500 square foot home. Get a room at least a 15 x 15 room for your trains...........................

Or go play Railroad Tycoon on your computer[:D]

I still have Railroad Tycoon Deluxe installed on my laptop. [:D]

Not me personally, despite being in the forces I'm a coward when there's a chance of me getting hurt [:D] It was a reference to my (all too) frequent trips to Afghanistan this month.

Is it business or pleasure that takes you to Egypt?

Same here. Getting the premium. Getting a Macbook for my son for school. 160 gb HD. How much do you recommend I partition for Windows?

50 gb?

Don't. Just get VMware Fusion or Parallels and run Windows in a virtual machine. Works great!

Note as I said before, only Ultimate and Business are licensed for such. Vista Ultimate is not much more than premium.

Parallels Desktop 4.0 will be on the computer. Thanks for the help.

Well, it depends on your definition of "play". I bought it on 27 July but haven't actually played a turn. I ran one historical turn just to see the changes in industry on 8 Dec. Other than that, I've been gathering data and trying to figure out the Japanese. I'm going to begin a Japanese first turn this weekend. +[:D]

Well, I don't seem to have picked up the Oink-Oink Flu after all(yet), although the first couple of members of our staff have now been diagnosed. It's one of life's great ironies that hospitals, where you go to get well, are also some of the easiest places to get sick.

The vaccine will be out in November, about a month and a half after the epidemic is expected to have run its course.

Bra-vo...[8|]
