As a purist - no its awful news.
As a realist, if it get the stadium built at some point in my lifetime then its just something to live with.

Last day of the Football League Season today (play-offs to come).
Let's hope Preston North End can make it back into the second-tier of English football.

Good luck in the play-offs to:
- Brentford

- Plymouth Argyle
- Grimsby Town

Feeling sad.
Captain Fantastic will play no more games at Anfield as a Liverpool player.
One of the "great generation" of English footballers for sure, and a player that has in many ways become the club. Add his loyalty to the club, and all I can do is [&o]

End of an era. I think he made the right decision - or better still should have gone last year. I can understand why he didn't what with the Champions League return, but let's be honest he has been nowhere near his best this season and in some games has been a bit of a liability.
Great player for Liverpool FC and England.

Oh yeah, he is past his prime (has been for three seasons imo), yet, as you say, end of an era.

Well this is not going well.....
Grimsby Town lose the Conference Play-Off Final on penalties [:(].
Congratulations to Bristol Rovers on their return to the football league.
Better luck next year Grimsby Town and Torquay United.

Torquay United.
That is the team I used to play as when I played CM/FM and was done playing LIverpool.
All due to John Cleese and Fawlty Towers ofc [:D]

That has to be one of the best - and certainly the most original reason for supporting a team! [&o] [&o]

End of the footie season[:(].... I hate the end of the footie season [:(]. No World Cup or European Cup as a time filler either....
Still there is one consolation; the team I support and those I have an interest in - at least they won't let me down every flipping week over the summer - well except in the transfer market of course [:D]
Only one winner out of 4 in the play-offs sadly. Well done to the Invincibles:
Preston North End [:)] Good luck in the Championship next year.
