A couple of thoughts from Russia.
 
My hope is that all of us have fun.  We all game for various reasons but the common element is fun.
 
One of the things I like about PBEM is that it at least introduces the chance of imponderables.  It always seems we have much more control than anything close to historical events as they actually transpired.  To me the current unfortunate situation is simply the desirable (?) advantage of PBEM games and the additional elements the style of game offers.

Paolo & folks all, a word of caution re files, from feedback experiances with FoF it appears the games can loose information if all files are not used in the merge process and this "may" backlash further down the line, would strongly suggest you all bite the bullet and wait on getting all the correct files before merging, but your call.

I just checked my 'sent mail' folder. Both files are attached to the mail I sent you  [&:]. Resending in case you want to reprocess.

I try to explain better.  You  (Mccoy) sent me 2 files. A normal turn005_3swedone.rep file and another turn005_ALL.sve file.
Last one is not ok because it's me that after combining all 16 our files generate ALL.sve files. Your right file need
to call turn005_3swedone.sve.

Agreed. Both files need to be included.

Russia, do us all a favor and stop your coup attempts in Poland.

Only an equitable division of Poland between Austria Prussia and Russia will be acceptable.

Austria will not tolerate any major power trying to usurp authority in Poland in its entirety.

We will suspend coup activity for one turn.  We have no desire to control all of Poland (who in the world would want some parts of it).  We are open to hear discussion, in public or private as any interested party chooses, what constitutes an equitable division of Poland.  Please understand that it may be a bit presumptuous to declare that it would be a favor to everyone to "stop your coup attempts in Poland"

I guess that's right. Some countries will benefit from the inevitable war that will result from one power ending up in control. Probably not the participants.

Also, some additional friendly advice: Are you familiar with the effects of waste? If Russia gained control of all of Poland it would cripple your country with increased waste. IIRC Russia starts with a fair amount of waste to begin with. Adding a great deal more would really lower the boom on your production of food and other commodities.
