The Axis had minor surprise, they choose an Air attack, most of it was suppressed by AA fire. They did abort one CW BB and suffered no losses themselves.

Both choose to stay and fight. The Allies surprise the Axis, they choose a surface action.

Here are the expected losses. The allies spent surprise points to lower the Axis combat column.

Here is the Axis damage, not too bad considering they were surprised.

Here is the CW damage in the next round.

And here is the Italian damage, they kind of took it on the chin this round.

After 3 rounds, both sides break off to lick their wounds. Would have to give this battle to the CW, and mostly because they had 2 rounds of surprise.

And here is what ended up in the repair pool. Ignore the French and German ships.

Here is an a2a battle over Paris in the ground strike phase.

and here is the result of the ground strike on Paris. Only one bomber made it thru, but that was all the Germans needed.

Think this Italian bomber needs to be put in for a medal lol.

This attack makes 3 hexsides on Paris now for the Germans.

A combined German and Italian assault takes out the Yugo Mnt unit blocking the Western pass.

So here is the attack on Paris, units attacking from 3 sides, a paradrop and 3 bombers adding their factors and Guderian adding HQ support.

The Germans needed an 8 ad that was just what they got. Paris falls!!!

Belgrade held out for a while but it finally falls.

With the fall of Paris, the Allies seeing the German army streaming back to the west try to slow this down by passing and it works as the turn ends on a roll of a 1. Then this nasty little partisan shows up in Korea, that will teach me to leave the city empty.

Look at all these 1's. Isn't that pathetic lol.

Germany installs a Vichy Government. The rolls look pretty standard.
