Germany sends in a NAV to the 2-box.
Swordfish could only reach 0-box, so none from the Allies.
GARR rails from Bremen to Copenhagen.
German forces advance into Belgium.

Gents I've just gone to throw for Nanchang and the US Entry pool is stating "The United States can never declare war on Japan!"
It looks like the wrong version is in play.

That's probably my fault picking the wrong save to start the impulse.
I'll have a look for correct version and replay from start.
Looks like subliminally we are set on having a game with no US DoW against Japan[8|]

EDIT: Forget everything you have seen in this post before edit [:)]
Now I got it. Did I continue with wrong save file during turn end? In that case I need to do turn end again. Sorry about this mess gentlemen.

Yes, there seems to be wrong US entry action chosen. Can't understand how it's possible, but I will do turn end again.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++STOP PRESS++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Neville Chamberlain has delivered another note to Herr Hitler, explaining that if he doesn't withdraw his troops from Belgium immediately, a state of war will exist between us.
Hitler, exasperated, points out that a state of war already exists between Germany and Britain, but then spots a cunning opportunity to alter a mistaken German move.
Adolf tells Nev "okay okay, you win, we'll order a withdrawal and undeclare the war on Belgium - but we are only doing it because you are such a tough negotiator Mr Chamberlain".
The German Army complete the withdrawal on November the 1st. The Belgians stand down and peace reigns supreme once more.
Germany are withdrawing from Belgium ladies and gents - the war is over!

2nd November 1939 - Germany declares war on Holland.....
Adolf tells Nev "okay okay, you win, we'll order a withdrawal and undeclare the war on Belgium - but we are only doing it because you are such a tough negotiator Mr Chamberlain".
And Adolf gave Neville a piece of paper to prove it. [&o]

Germany declares war on Netherlands, no reaction from US (5 rolled).
CW aligns Netherlands. 3x CA and 4x CP to Rotterdam, 2x CP to NEI, all other ships to Caribbean.
INF goes to Amsterdam.

Chamberlain would have had a lot of explaining to do, if he hadn't died.

Minor change to production: Germany did not build submarines and saved some oil.
Now everything should be good [:)]

Okay after that brief confusion and thanks to two very sporting opponents for allowing the redo [&o], the war continues.
N/D 39 Axis 1
No DoW or alignments
Germany and Italy combined. Japan land.
Germany flies FTR to North Sea 2-box.
CA Blucher loads 14th SS INF Div and heads into the North Sea. The Allies decline to intercept and the cruiser stays in the 4-box.
The Germans decline naval combat but, on the basis of the dummy run, I assume the Allies will initiate. HMS Effingham begins scouting.
Germany adds a NAV to the 2-box. The Allies didn't add anything before, so I'll assume this hasn't changed.
Staying close in to the coast and sailing under cover of darkness, the German cruiser manages to escape being spotted by the Royal Navy. Searches: Allies 9, Axis 2. 4 surprise points used to avoid combat.
Germany rails a GARR from Bremen to Copenhagen.
German forces deploy rapidly across the flat Dutch countryside.

Nov/Dec 1939
Impulse: 1 (Axis)
Land Movement (cont):
Japan
In south-central China Yamamoto's Army Group pushes west, seeking to destroy the Chinese 14th Army southwest of Nanchang. The Japanese occupy the city. The US Government is outraged and this act of wanton Japanese aggression (a 1 was thrown in the aborted turn and so throw this again). Yamamoto's progress is hindered by the Kan River and the 1st Engineer Division are ordered south as quickly as they can.
On the shores of the South China Sea the Kyoto Militia enter the port of Pakhoi and, having quelled any sense of dissent from the local population, they head back east to maintain their watch over the approaches to Hainan.
In Central China the 2nd Motorised Army, supported by an SNLF Corps push into the mountains north of Wuhan in order to pressure the Chinese defending the Lake Liangtse/Lake Tungting area.
Finally, in North Central China Umezu and Terauchi's forces are now combined. Three infantry armies - 6th, 11th and 25th - and the Combined Cavalry Corps head south, cross the Han River and head for Ichang which is guarded by a Chinese Cavalry Corps.

Nov/Dec 1939
Impulse: 1 (Axis)
Air Transport: None
Debark: None
Invasion:
Germany
The 14th (SS) Infantry Division, aboard the new heavy cruiser Blucher, having slipped past Allied shipping in the North Sea, is offloaded into whatever barges/and small boats were available and sail in the early hours of the morning for Rotterdam.
Land Combat:
Germany
To the northeast the spearhead German formations conduct a flank attack on the Dutch capital, defended by the Dutch I Infantry Corps. I Infantry and VII Motorised Corps, supported by the tanks of the HG Panzer Division provide the northern pincer, while XLVI Mechanised Corps and XLVII Panzer Corps smash through the defences of Fortress Holland in the south. The Panzer Corps provides the southern pincer, which the Mechanised Corps peel off and head directly for Rotterdam.
Japan
One attack is ordered - against Ichang.

Nov/Dec 1939
Impulse: 1 (Axis)
Land Combat:
Germany
For the attack on Rotterdam, I assume the notional will be used as otherwise the attack is automatic. With the notional the attack is 4:1.
The Luftwaffe provides close support to the Amsterdam attack, taking the odds to 7:1.
If all goes to plan and there are any Dutch ships to rebase, where do you want them to go - or do you want to wait for the land combat results first?
Japan
The odds in China are 23:2 (Automatic). The Chinese have a 1-factor aircraft on the hex (3-factor fighter strength). The Japanese have two 3-factor fighters they can bring in as interceptors. Do the Chinese wish to fly? There are no Japanese bombers.

The notional is included.
All attacks are assault.
The Chinese fighter flies defensive ground support to Ichang. If the fighter survives it lands in Changsha.
Any surviving Dutch ships rebase to Plymouth.
