They were very small AM's with 1 ASW weapon each. Good use of torpedoes.
• Our aircraft in the eastern DEI made many attacks on invading warships and convoys but got no hits. Enemy Zero's were a major obstacle and downed several aircraft.
• The part of the Dutch squadron not in port at Batavia will sortie to the Indian Ocean out of range of KB2 unless it braves the mines in Sunda Strait. Like wise the two RN TF's at Soerabaja will head into the Indian Ocean. The RN TF at Darwin will move east of Timor. All four TF's will be ready to rush KB2 is opportunity arises.
