I’ll be out of action for a while last Sunday, August 20 I had a massive heart attack my Widowmaker artery was 100% blocked and my other artery was 90% blocked. When they put in the second stent in the Widowmaker while trying to put in the other stent in the last artery I guess I coded they shocked me but I completely felt it anyway I’ve been in ICU since Sunday till I was discharged on Friday when they finally put the last Stent. I am home now and doing well and slowly recovering and recuperating. I’ll be starting cardio therapy soon. I’m on a new Mediterranean diet and just enjoying life with my wife, so please take care of yourselves.
Watching what you eat is important so you don't bite your fingers!Zovs wrote: Mon Aug 28, 2023 11:22 am Thanks everyone, I am getting stronger every day. I am really enjoying eating healthy and watching what I eat. It’s good to have a healthy body, soul and spirit.
I really could not imagine doing any of this on my own and am so very grateful.
Damn, Zovs! Please do take it easy and take care of yourself!Zovs wrote: Sun Aug 27, 2023 3:59 pm Hey fellows,

I started reading The Expanse series of novels and it put me back in the "space mood".![]()
Being alive is so much better than the alternative! After I had surgery for my cancer and also after a different hospitalization, when people asked me how I was doing, I would reply: "I am alive." If they gave me a funny or disgusted look as if I was being sarcastic, I would explain why. What was really funny is when I would put my left heel on my right big toe area and step down, flattening the shoe. Even better was hitting that part of the shoe with a hammer.
Maybe you are feeling better both mentally and physically after you were repaired! Of course, there are plenty of reasons to be grateful to be alive!
You are most welcome!
