It seems to me that Jim is bringing more and more B-17's each time he raids. Maybe he's finally getting an influx of supplies and
material from the US.

It seems like I've flown one too many carrier strikes near Sydney. Jim and his fighters have torn the guts out of my bomber unit and I'm
pretty sure it'll go downhill from here. I may have to withdraw and refit after this.

The Allied TF's have disappeared from my radar and I see the Allied subs gathering........I'm thinking it's time to move the carrier group
back north and rearm etc.

And I'm guessing this will be the last carrier strike for a while from my southern carrier group. I'll have to replace that bomber unit that
got decimated.

I think my anti-sub dudes may have gotten an Allied sub near Mersing:

And then there's another Allied sub near Kuantan:

Here's how it went on the ground at Mauban. I'm still amazed at how outnumbered I am and Jim is still the one getting the losses. His
troops must be really out of supply badly.

I'm not making much headway at Batavia. I may need some more troops or some more air-to-ground beat down or something.

Okay.......the fortifications are now 0 so all the rest of the assaults will come off better. So we should be advancing here shortly. Maybe.

It looks like we're going pretty good w/o the 14th Division already. Wonder how fast the Allies will vaporize when the 14th Div gets here.

And then Jim does a shock attack at Singkep and I'm betting it didn't come off like he expected. I'll bet he doesn't do that again soon.

I would be doing Jap ground attacks but as you can see my guys are out of supply. On the other hand Jim may be out of supply too and
he's continuing to do ground bombardments. I'd like to know what the supply situation is for his troops. OPSEC prevents me from asking
Jim however. He probably wouldn't tell me if I did ask.

And then Jim does a shock attack at Mersing and looses his shirt:

And of course, here's the combat report:

Finally, the BB ISE came out of the repair yard and I've rounded up some escorts for her and now I'm going to run her over to
Yokohoma to join the northern carrier group. The Ise is a fine addition to the group and I expect great things from her. She is
a good example of the dedication and high ideals of the entire Japanese fleet. Yada, yada, yada.

Here's the condition of the northern carrier group so far. Dribs and drabs of ships are coming out of the repair yard to re-join the fleet.
We're almost ready for combat comditions again. I'm not sure where they should go when they all get back together. I'm open to sug-
gestions about the next thing for them to be doing. I was thinking of bombarding Midway w/ them.

I just happened to notice just now that I have some Allied TF's on my radar screen near Tarawa. I'm going to have to alert the carriers
so they can come to the rescue. I have no idea what Jim has up his sleeve and so far I don't think those ships are much of a threat yet
but they can be minelayers or something coming to complicate my life.

I'm bringing some supplies to Wake which needs them badly and I'm going to have to sail into a known minefield to deliever them. I'm not
sure I would do that unless Wake really needed the supplies. But on the other hand the field was delivered by a sub so maybe it's a
really small field and not a major threat. I need to get my DMS ships to wipe this field for me. It would take at least one AO and about
14 days to get a DMS ship here from where they are now. D'oh.

I successfully placed a midget sub inside the minefield at the port of Brisbane. Now I just need some Allied ships to run across them.
Which might not happen for quite a while. Jim hasn't had any ships active at Brisbane for quite a while and may not for some time yet.
So this midget sub will just lay in wait and keep an eye on things there for me.

TF 244 finally arrived at Gasmata and is unloading the 14th Ind. SNLF Company so I can give chase to the Allied LCU near Gasmata.
