Some of those cat's eyes and faces look rather strange . . . I missed an earlier bus to get back to my apartment so I took a local bus to a restaurant. The waitress came and asked about my beverage and I told her: Coffee, ice water, and biscuits and gravy - but no, I don't want to drink the gravy! Then I went to wash my hands and comb my hair so I could take off my hat without having messed up hair. Then I called for the bus ride. I said something to her and she said that she was eating for THREE! So I gave her a tip, check the local Target ad for when they have buy $100 worth of baby items such as diapers (aka nappies for the English!) and wipes and get a $20 or $30 gift card. She never knew about that so I told her that I did that for a friend's newest grandson before his birthday. I also told her to hint to people and put it on a list. It is her money and people need to be frugal.

Hi all,

We have full blown "Indian Summer" for weeks now (just 1-2 days of rain in whole period)... temperatures still go up to 26 degrees Centigrade...

In one way it is the best part of the year with the continual harvest of good, fresh vegetables and fruits with nice weather to be able to enjoy the harvesting. If you don't think that you would like that, I have picked apples when I was bundled up with a few snowflakes coming down with a cold wind whispering in my ear. "Winter's coming!"
