TF 463 has loaded the 50th JNAF Company ( AF dudes ) and I'm sending them to Rabaul, not that they will be used at Rabaul but I'm
sending them that general direction to a location to be determined later. I'm thinking of the time when Lunga will need some AF dudes
or Munda or some other dot-island hex not developed yet. Not that I'm going to land them where there's no supply or something like
that. But for later, say a month from now.

I have gotten a midget sub inside the minefield at Baker Island and now he's just going to keep an eye on things, lemme know when there
is a smidgen of traffic and maybe if he get's lucky maybe he'll get a shot at a ship sometime soon.

DMS W-3 is one of the two DMS ships I have left and I was going to Bataan w/ him and he's almost there as a matter of fact and I'm torn
between letting him clear Bataan/Manila or driving him out to Wake. I'm going to need an AO probably to get this DMS ship to Wake in
an expeditious manner or I could sail between islands on the southern route and take a little longer getting there but it's still a trip of
about two weeks at least I'm thinking. I have another DMS, DMS W-5 which is headed to Bataan also but he's more south then Cagayan
and would be in a better position to get to Wake sooner. On the other hand Wake would be cleared sooner if I took both boats to Wake
to clear the field. I'll probably need both of them to do Bataan / Manila also. That's it........I'm taking both boats to Wake.

This is the spot where I thought I might need an AO, the jump from somewhere else to Wake. The DMS ship has an endurance of 4K as
I recall and on second thought it might be able to negotiate this jump w/o an AO after all. I'll alert the AO but try the trip w/o it and see
what happens.

TF 638 has delivered the 14th Div to Mersing. It's unloading now. As a point of interest it took 11 days from Port Arthur to Mersing. And
none of the ships that are in the harbor can dock but one, so it's going to be slow unloading I'm thinking. Plus there might be one or
more ships that just can't unload and will have to go to Saigon or somewhere to unload. That's going to mean fragments. D'oh.

Fresh Combat Results: I tried to reduce the threat to my dudes on the ground by doing some night naval bombardments but it looks like
every ship attacked the facilities instead. D'oh. So I'll have to do air bombing or something else.

And Jim's sub fired 4 torps and all of them missed I guess. Bad luck for the sub.

This is probably the kind of attack I need to do at Singkep. Except I need the losses to be higher.

And then there was an airstrike on Darwin:

Jim has gotten his Manila remnants back together which will make it easier for me to kill them. Now I just gotta move into his hex and
start the killing.

Nells.

It appears that the Allied LCU icon is missing from my map. That probably just means I need to do some recon to "find" the LCU and it's
probably not destroyed yet. Right? Maybe I need to send out one of my LCU's to that hex to see what's there now.

And then Jim has his flyboys do a B-17 raid on Port Moresby:

And then the Japs do their own Port Moresby strike. Also, I notice that Jim has a sub in the port at PM and I wouldn't put it past him to be
laying some mines in the harbor there using his sub(s). I guess I'd better be more careful in the future about doing some night naval
bombardments. I may have to quit doing that altogether.

And then there was a carrier strike on Brisbane's harbor and they get a hit on quite a few ships. But I notice that none of them sink.

hoping that's because the supply situation is better at PM for my guys.
