The unmarried part spends their time complaining about how the good ones are all taken. N'est pas? [:D]
C'est pas non, mon ami. Back in my retirement days on Crete, I was working in the yard when a couple of - let's say "near-matronly" women strolled up. The uglier and fatter of the two asked me (in Greek, of course) if I had a wife. I told her I didn't. So, she went on to ask, "Are you looking for one?"

I guess she didn't really care whether I was a "good one," only that I might be one;.

I learned when i was 16 though it remains a hard task, especially with having to avoid hitting all the stupid pedetrians walking on the back up roads that bracket most of our major roadways in urban and suburban areas.
Back in Ioway where I grew up and started aiming (I learned to drive much later), you scored points for hitting pedestrians. One of the admired feats, for example, was for the driver to get close enough to a pedestrian that the shotgun rider could nail him or her with the car door.

Points were subtracted, of course, for elderly or infirm targets.

If I may offer a hypothesis, perhaps she had spent so much time complaining about one, that she just needed a break to do the other.

And here I though that was just an old joke.

Could be, but a lot of us old jokes have considerable staying power...

To be exact, an old Russian joke, about a Chukcha. Lets see how far your knowledge of Russian culture goes. [:)]

Or at least certain parts of her anatomy![:)]

I understand she does have some outstanding features. I suppose it proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Vulcans are, in fact, mammals.

Her most outstanding feature, of course, was that she knew how to keep her mouth shut. [:'(]

Which proves that she certainly was not a human female.
