I understand she does have some outstanding features. I suppose it proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Vulcans are, in fact, mammals.

Her most outstanding feature, of course, was that she knew how to keep her mouth shut. [:'(]

Which proves that she certainly was not a human female.

Exactly. Indeed, it does bring some question to the female description, which is then fully rebutted by her second most outstanding feature(s?). [:'(]

She can't start taking lessons before she's 17.

I was 24 when I learned to drive, never had the need for it before that.

Is it common for a family in the UK to have more than one car?

Well old boy, most of us do. Normally it's a Range Rover for touring the estate grounds and a Rolls for the weekly trip to market. Of course we mostly just use our Aston Martins for day to day stuff.

To be exact, an old Russian joke, about a Chukcha. Lets see how far your knowledge of Russian culture goes. [:)]
So, two Chukchas walk up to a train conductor.

The first Chukcha asks, "Will this train take me to Moscow?"

The conductor answers, "No."

So, the second Chukcha asks, "Well, how about me?"

HAH! A true English auto fancier ("They're poorly designed and don't work very well, but, by gawd, we love 'em") would NEVER insult Mr. Royce like that.

And where's your MG "if you want to go up a hill, better pray for a tailwind" sports machine?

I'm impressed, but no.

Chukcha comes to Moscow, walks out of Sheremetyevo, catches a taxi. The taxi is tooling down the road when an old lady with an avoska suddenly steps out from between two parked cars. The drivers swerves suddenly, realizes he didnt hit the old bag, breathes a sigh of relief. From the back seat he hears his passenger [insert appropriate accent here] Ahh, Moscow taxi driver is a bad hunter. If Chukcha didnt open the door a good 20 kilos of meat would have gotten away.

I've actually got an MG, well sort of [:D] Not an MGB or anything like that mind, a ZS, a 2.5L engine is a nice bit of poke for a young lad like I was when I got it.

Mr Royce is partly responsible for plenty of skinned knuckles, bruised arms and infected cuts [:@] I realise they aren't the same company anymore, but still [:-] Mr Rolls is just as bad.

"Looking to purchase an estate, are we? Here, we have a number of castles listed that you might like. A bit old and in need of some minor updating, as the plumbing is a bit primitive and the electric and gas ain't been laid on, but quite solid and majestic in appearance they are, eh? Some have even had the structure repaired after medieval and War of the Roses siege damage. Good price too, you know. Just last week, sold one to a Muslim fundamentalist group - you know, them jolly fellows from east of Suez - for a mere pittance. Once owned by a respectable old family - Baskerville, I think it was..."

What will be really difficult for me is that it's a USAF base. The last two USAF bases that I was stationed at , Andrews AFB and Lajes AFB , well , lets just say that I remain incognito when I visit them! [:D] Some people just don't have any sense of humor. Then , there that time in 1979 when my whole flight crew got in trouble at Minot AFB . My squadron was permanetly banned after THAT airshow! [:D]

Now you got me curious ... what did you do? [:'(]

If you are serious , let me know and I'll pm you. I think the statute of limitations has run out now. Unlike that little "international incident the same crew had with a Soviet spy ship off Capr Cod.[8|][:o]

I'm ALWAYS pleased to see her! That's one of the things I'm looking forward to at my next home. The SAC museum has one. [:)]

Warmonger #3 heard from. [:D]

We are legion! [:D] There is a reason that among "trekkies" Klingon is more popular than Vulcan. Blowing stuff up is fun! BTW , I notice that you play WITP , "peace in the Pacific". [:D] So there![:D]

You know, it occurs to me that the perspective we get on the Klingons in canon is incomplete. After all, they are a multi-system, spacefaring (and quite highly developed) race. It follows that a significant percentage of the Klingon population is engaged in much less martially glorious pursuits, such as scientific research, farming, commerce, etc. So the image we have is somewhat like making a judgment about the human race based on a few random meetings with SEALs and Marines. Ponder that a while.... [:'(]

Of course the Klingons have scientists , who find new advances in war. And farmers who grow food for warriors. And even poet who write about......well, there is a bit of a trend here, but afterall , they are supposed to be Klingons Yuri. Poetry spouting flower children just don't make a good story. Earth gets invaded by ...Hippies? Sorry , no sale! [:D]

Speak loundly and carry a big honking space gun! [:D] (apologies to Richard Dean Anderson's "Jack O'Niell" character). [:D]

Among those of us who are actually up on the latest developments, that particular bit of weaponry is commonly referred to as a BFG. [:'(]

And those of us that used to watch Stargate SG-1 know that I got it right! Twit! [:D]
