That could be a problem if trees and bushes start to bloom and then it gets colder. The buds will freeze and then no fruits and berries . . .

Yep... all we can do is keep our collective fingers crossed...

BTW, today (New Years Eve) it will be +15 degrees Centigrade as well..

We had rain, then freezing rain, and now snow. So things are slippery. I would rather have it much colder with a lot of snow on the ground for insulation. It is not fun when the water pipes freeze. It would be worse if the sewer pipes freeze while there is still water coming in and people sending water down the drain.

Death is a pain in the ass. My wife and I have a friend from our High School days who just lost his Mum. His father doesn't know how to balance a checkbook and his young bother and sister are of no help. He is really broken up. He drove out to visit and get away this weekend. It was good to see him and my wife and I are trying to get him some grief counceling. But is really sucks. ....GP
