Freezing drizzle during the Tuesday evening through the very early hours Wednesday here and now snow on top of that to make it very slippery where it is not sanded nor salted. We are supposed to get 3 to 6 inches ( 7.62 cm to 15.42 cm) of snow from Friday night through Sunday morning. It was down to about 5 degrees F (-15 C) this morning so it is rather warm. The nice thing is the skies were cloudy since I had my eyes examined which meant that they were dilated.

No, not really. Only -10 C I think during the days, and down to -20 C at night. Cold, but not extreme. Further north (in Sweden) it has been a lot colder.

What has been heating up though, is the electrical cost. I expect to be close to bursting into flames when I see my next electrical bill. I hate politicians for their shortsightedness. The electrical tax just went up. And now they discuss whether they should do something about it if the electrical cost gets to high. Bah.

Better not get into it here since it could get more political than the rules allow.
