Just ordered my new computer. The thought of all the software I'll have to reinstall makes me feel very old and tired.

I feel your pain brother. New computer, hard drives die , so new hard drives , followed by new OS. I've re-nstalled so much software I'm begining to pretend that I know what I'm doing! Which I definately do NOT! [:D]

Bonus points! A double pun! [&o] [:D]

Do I get assist points? [:D]

Just like in hockey, up to two players get assists on a goal. [:D]

I always enjoy the process. It's a chance to clear out all the junk that I don't really use but didn't have the energy to delete from the old one. Kind of like Spring cleaning. [:D]

I'll say... I'll spend some time downloading the latest installers for all the basic stuff (anti-virus, firewall, etc...) and organizing them on a DVD I can pull up once my new box arrive.

I had originally planned to save up money to buy a new PC sometime in the next year, but you can't really beat instant gratification. Okay, semi-instant, because I don't get it until Wednesday.
