Major trouble north of here. Cavalier, ND and areas down stream is under mandatory evacuation order starting at 7:00 this evening. A retention dam 6 1/2 miles to the west is expected to fail within the next twelve hours. The emergency levy at the top of the dam will soon be breeched. This will most likely destroy the entire town.

Here's hoping people obey the order. Burst dams are nothing to be trifled with.

If people thought the winds in Moore, OK were bad, water is so much worse. It knocks everything down and leaves nothing behind.
