I learned to like Richard Clayderman on my 14th birthday when we celabrated on a restaurant where they played Clayderman. We liked it so much so we asked about the music and later on I got one of his records as a present.

I've relistened to Ballade pour Adeline a few more times and I agree with you. It feels like it should be the theme show to a British TV show. Late 70's or early 80's as you said. Driving me bonkers. Could it be that it was renamed for TV? Or just a similar piano piece?ORIGINAL: warspite1

I don't know, I may be talking rubbish (that's a shocker isn't it [:D]). I have googled it but cannot find any reference to it having been theme music... how strange. Maybe my mind is playing tricks in my frail dotage.
Why can't you repeat the name "Lovingly Yours, Helen" here?[&:]My searching of the internet has found however a film that Ballade Pour Adeline was used in. Suffice to say I canot repeat the name here
