So Adebayor is gone. Feeling better now? [;)]
warspite1

We have not properly recruited in the close season, leaving us stupidly light in strikers. Despite the fact that we cannot score goals, too much reliance and pressure is heaped on young Harry Kane, we have Premier League unknowns in Son and N'Jie (are either really strikers anyway?) the fact that this strange individual has gone can only be a good thing for the club.
Indeed.

But morale in the squad should improve now. Right?
warspite1

Yes, and that is why, despite all the negatives mentioned, his going was defo the right thing to do for the club - even if it cost us the full £5m to pay him off.

It's been a bad start to the campaign for Chelsea, but even if he quits or is shown the door (who knows where Abramovich is concerned) he has won yet another Championship with Chelsea in his second stint.

Spurs kick off their Europa League campaign tonight with a home fixture against FC Qarabag..... yep, I'd never heard of them either. They are from Azerbaijan apparently..

That went well.

So how will it go today?

I feel it is time to decide on what kind of season it will be.

warspite1

What kind of season? For Spurs I can confidently predict....

... it's going to be rubbish.

Honestly, there is little pace in the team, no defence, no.... anything really.

Don't get me wrong, Son looks lively (albeit lightweight like Eriksen) and Alli looks like a good buy. If he continues to develop he is one for the future - albeit it will be at a top club when we are forced to sell him [:(]

But hey, there are always positives - Arsenal lost again and... well there's always next year [;)]

Here the beginning of the end part of the season just begun. And it is very, very, tight in the top. I suspect that it will be settled in the last match of the season.

They had a rubbish start. But now they perform really well. Eight wins in a row and counting.

They are at place one now but I expect them to be second later today. Both second and third place teams have played one match less than AIK.

Not an Arsenal fan here (Liverpool all the way eh) but er... what a pity! [:(] [:D]

Wenger should have delivered the final blow! It would have been utterly glorious [:D] I mean, you'd have to have a heart of stone not to laugh!
