Bringing nuclear weapons back to the South is one of a wide range of options the Trump administration is considering. Other options reportedly include preemptive strikes, though it was unclear how seriously such extreme case options are being reviewed.

"All new administrations need to do policy reviews and must look at the full spectrum of possible options. That doesn't mean they all are viable or make sense," Manning said. "Unless you can move Great Seoul and its 28 million people 1000 miles south, there is no preemption option in which the benefit outweighs the risk of war."

What I know is every countries want deterrence, not war. Especially in a day we are heavily rely in the fruition of globalization, and rotting it is definitely not an option.

For US, they have one more thing if hell really breaks loose, but again, I'd rather hope it's an obstacle rather than a catalyst of Korean missile crisis:

The U.S. Navy conducted a successful structural test firing of the Surface to Surface Missile Module (SSMM) from Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) USS Detroit (LCS 7) Feb. 28 off the coast of Norfolk, Virginia.

According to Reuters citing ministry sources, Germany's defence ministry has decided to buy Northrop Grumman-built MQ-4C Triton unmanned air systems (UAS) to replace the RQ-4C-based Euro Hawk, which Berlin cancelled in May 2013. Sensors for the new aircraft are to be built by Airbus, as planned under the previous programme, the sources said. Dassault Aviation announced in April 2015 that Japan Coast Guard selected the Falcon 2000 Maritime Surveillance Aircraft (MSA) to enhance its operational fleet.

The Falcon 2000 MSA, based on a Falcon 2000 LXS (range 4000 NM), is designed for a broad range of missions including maritime surveillance, piracy control, drug interdiction, fishery patrol, law enforcement, search and rescue, intelligence and reconnaissance. It offers the best combination of size, payload, speed, range and acquisition and operating costs on the market.

For this customer, Dassault is partnering with L-3 Platform Integration and THALES. Japan Coast Guard was formerly operating two Falcon 900 MSA.

Interesting bit here is the USMC will be replacing F-18s before AV-8Bs with the F-35Bs. Not sure if those Sqns will then change to the F-35C when they become available or not.
