Just to clarify - no one needs to feel bad about it. Birthdays have never been a big thing in our family, inluding the so called "big" ones. Actually, I'm more than happy that my friends, colleagues et al. respected my wish not to do some big "surprise" party in my honor. [:)]

Otherwise, turning 50 here in Sweden ususally entails having to throw some gigantic party involving everyone from kindergarden to your current colleagues. Managed to avoid that one [:)]

Will go to Mallorca in the Mediterranean on Friday for a one week vacation with my parents, sister+family. It might happen that we have some finer dinner there. Just like I want it to be.

I actually had 3 different post calls in Palma de Mallorca over the years. Sadly, none of them were during warmer months to enjoy the beach and swimming. Still a fun place. [:)]

Today I got asked if I wanted to fly on the Lancaster on the 15th (I do!!), it's over London for Trooping the Colour. [8D] My first trip on the Lanc (after last week fell through) and my first time seeing the even live and we'll be at the head of a flypast. Good times, even if I am having to go into work for an extra day. Unless someone breaks the old girl.
