One CAv, and one INF, each advance one hex northwards, linking up with the INF Div.
This extends the Chinese line northwards with two hexes, thus threatening to envelop the Japanese line.

- INF in B-town advance east a couple of hexes.
- One INF Div reinforce Pskov.
- Minor adjustments of the defensive line between Vitebsk and the north part of the Pripets.
- Timoshenko retreat to the east banl of Dnieper.
- Kiev is designated as a fortress city.
- Army group Yeremenko remain with the bulk of the units west of Dnepropetrovsk.
- The 2nd Guards Cavalry corps spearhead the defences on which the German offence is expected to break.
- Three armies are ordered to the east side of Dniepr in the south of Ukraine to guard the airfields, and the army groups headquarter against outflanking attacks.

The CW plan of attack is so good that it even takes Gort by surprise (1 rolled in HQ support).
The attack in the Egyptian desert is automatic if it is blitz, so the assault there is a given. However, in France the attack on Graziani, in Nantes, is not as clear of what combat table that should be used.
Will Axis select assault, or blitz, on the attack on Nantes?

The fractional odds roll is a success, and thus makes the attack 5-1, and that is the final luck needed for the Allies to liberate Nantes, and send Graziani back to the force pool.
