Because, of course, Florida is right on the way between DC and Omaha.......[:'(]

As I previously told Bruce right here on the Thread. The trips a "round robin". DC to Omaha (originally I planned to go by way of Memphis, but that's fallen off) . Business concluded, time for vacation! Due south (to avoid any possibility of snow). Possibly New Orleans,Mobile and definitely Pensacola (a day or two in each) then Jacksonville (more business in my home of record,drivers licenses, car registration , banking etc). Then due south to Mouse ville for a couple of days holiday. And in all the years I've lived in Florida, I've never been to the Kennedy space center. So a day there , then a leisurely drive back to DC.

So you see , it all makes perfect sense! I hope that you paid attention THIS time, as there will be a test! [:D]
