Another day done at work. They made me work on the Dakota today, my least favourite of all the BBMF aircraft. I don't care that it was one of the most important aircraft of the war, probably the most important in India/Burma near the end. It fails the 6 year old test, does a small child think it's cool? They never ask how many people it can carry, they ask how many bombs and guns it can carry and how fast it goes. And the big green dolphin fails on all those criteria [:D]
Just tell them that these planes took the most skilled pilots. To shoot at the enemy they had to roll down the window and shoot at them with their service revolver. [:D]

nice to see your photos friend, im living in mallorca, in palma, the capital, i just came from port d'andratx to do job things (im graphic designer and im working in a sign painting enterprise)
ill love to visit stockholm

Lovely island. Actually, I was a little prejudiced on going to Mallorca as it has been along for such a long time in the charter business and I thought it was going to be a little worn out and too commercialized. Gladly, I can say that I was wrong, at least as Port de Andratx goes [:)]

someday, if you can... go to Formentera. i think its the only paradise left in mediterranean. its an island south of ibiza, and trust me, almost no cars, almost no hotels, seek info, you will fall in love

It is EXTREMELY hot here... yesterday we had 33.8 degrees Centigrade which was the highest temperature in June in past 150 years...
