Not a problem! I had to post that game as an AAR since that was a tragic loss for me and a first BUT I have played this thing a fews hours and seen it all ... :-)

BTW: Was able to pull the game off with Davout.

Thank you

Why are some area in green and others in beige ? Is green the color you control and beige the color of the other contries or beige is the austia color ?

bOrIuM,

The green you were seeing is supposed to be blue (for French controlled minors).

Beige = Home Nations and Neutral Minors
Color code of major power with back slash lines \ \ \ = Free State Minors
Color code of major power with forward slash lines / / / = Conquered Minors

Since the French Empire was basically a creature of Napoleon Bonaparte, held together by his skill and charisma, wouldn't his falling in battle have even more enormous implications for France than even this result suggests?

Except for the units and garrisons, it looks very nice.
Why do even the garrisontowers need the black outline?
The corpscounters are ugly, there, I said it. Even the original, 20 year old counters look a lot better than these.
I imagine someone wanted the depiction of soldiers and thus the form of the counters, but as it stands now, it falls between oldfashioned counters and 3D units and well short of both. Finally, the counterstyle does not match up with the map at all.

I know it is probably futile at this stage and - yes - I will buy it anyway.

Not a hope for a change but give it until you see the actual product in hi-res on your own screen

Yeah, but wargames never really simulate the importance of Napoleon. EIA comes closest, as far as I have seen, though.

You enjoy teasing us don't you Marshall. [:@] Let's see how long have we been waiting for this game? 4 years? 5? lol

Looks good though and don't pay any attention to guys like Norden an Ashberry they live in a world of kiddie graphics and don't know what real quality is. ;)

One more AAR PLEEEEEEEEZZZZ?

And please allow us to have the option of playing the game until 1821!!! Do not force us to end a game on death by calendar! Please give us an "extend game to 1821 option button and allow us to end it at any point we want by checking the VPs!

Thanks!

Any chance you could ask a couple of the PBEM folks to run an AAR of their game?
