well, this is scary sight
the ANV and my Army did not show up
108,875 vs 21417
plus I got 3 VH to defend (I will only defend one if I can) and if I call on the AOP, most times not all of it is going to show, so it will be a outnumbered battle with the CSA having better troops

the ANV has some dogs in it, but it does have a Arty battery, which I was hoping would be my ACE in the hole, I got one too, but mine is the better weapon, but he got tons of troops
could be a fun battle, or I may be crying myself to sleep

Well, were that dog with the cord pulling tail at when you need him ?
I think I can see where this one is headed to, fast
going to really hate losing that Arty Battery

it is a slaughter, the CSA is flanking and chargeing, I withstand one and fall to the next, round and round they go
a Cav Bde tries to charge my guns, but fail, my guns are out of place, no holes to fire though

it is becomeing a battlefield of tears
my Arty has done a great job, repelling charge after charge, they wounded Early, but then Williams was killed, they then beat off two charges but the next two did major damage, the battery is down to 700 men, I am expecting them to die in place
over all, I think my men have done a great job, they have more then done there duty, I fear most of the ones in action, will not be marching home, my last few reinforcements, I have back, to form a screen to protect the routing troops

this is the big one
I got a good armmed Army, got some new fangled Gatlings, Improved Springfields, a few Withworths Sharpshooters, only 1 battery of guns and 1 Cav Bde
only am not ready for battle when the first wave hits

the 2nd wave begins
the battlefield is not as good as it looks, most of the CSA troops are not in line of sight yet (you get little spot sighting of them at times)

this battle, I was able to form a line and have a Div in Reserve, it is coming in handy
the CSA has done damage, rushes and flanking attacks, but that has no staying power
they will bleed themselfs dry pretty soon, if they don't break though the line

In case this hasn't been pointed out, those triangular piles of cannonballs represent that a unit is out of supply, and either needs to have a supply wagon resupply it or head to a nearby town/village, where it gains one supply level each turn.
Units that are out of supply can still fight (after all, they can still scrape up a few projectiles and grains of gunpowder here and there), but are FAR less effective, and therefore easier to destroy.
