RE: My Observations and Recommendations

Thanks for your response. I know few, if any of my ideas, will be taken seriously, but it always good to express your ideas to improve the game…
- As far as the barracks, I think you are asking for a lot more detail than the game intends. The barracks are simply an abstraction of the training regimine that would go into the troop quality. Sure, a real "barracks" is simply a place to gather the men, but that's not what they meant here.
-You’re partially correct in your statement, but please refer to my original post about the inconsistencies in the replacement system. It is easier and quicker to build a new division than to train draftees. A new division should come from your trained draftees and not the manpower from the surrounding provinces. Also, the options you set in your draft training determined the quality of recruit you receive.
- I don't agree with the "retraining" idea to be honest. Yes, some units evolved into other roles as the war progressed but by and large once a unit was raised it pretty much stayed the same for the whole war. I also have a hard time seeing the point of doing it either at this scale.
It’s not a major issue, but a nicety…it will not affect the overall affect of the game. However, I would rather eliminate the Lancer unit since there were no divisional size formations of these units. Like light infantry, they were incorporated into existing cavalry divisions. Lancers should be a military upgrade that improves the combat capabilities of a cavalry division and not a divisional unit.
