Considering how often ravinhood mouths off and acts like a troll, he must really feel slighted as a consumer...[8|]
[:-]Hey, it's tough living under a bridge always on the lookout for fire or acid[:D][;)].

So, What Do You Do For Matrix?
I buy their products.
edit:
As far as I can tell, that's all they have asked of me.
All I ask of them is that their product be worth buying.

Well, that's good enough. [;)]

As a consumer I don't feel like I have to contribute anything other than buying the product. I can give my imput on what make the games better but I'm no researcher, map maker, graphic design artist, programmer (ok I am a programmer and the first time you need RPG work I'm on it [;)]). You shouldn't expect any one to contribute but instead encourage it. Oh by the way just because you worked on Mega campaigns or made SPWAW maps don't make you any better than someone that likes to play the games occasionally

Hmmm Lets see, I bought the Mega Campaigns, plus just spent the past few years trying to fix and Improve a game that had gotten totally screwed up over the years,(not screwed up by Matrix per say) and that Matrix had washed their hands of...(other than Mr Wood, without whose help would not have been possible)
[:)]
Plus I clog the forums with thousands of posts....LOL

Let me put it this way -- actively contributing isn't a requirement, but it sure helps in establishing relations with the prime-movers of the company. This, of course, has its own downside, as other gamers may develop jealousy or resentments towards us.
This is NOT to imply that we are "better" than other gamers. It simply implies that given the dedication and determination to contribute, we gamers CAN make a difference.

I buy nearly every title they publish, whether I have the time to play them or not. First, because I like to see what the state of the art in game design looks like, secondly, because I want to support a hobby that needs all the support it can get if it is too survive.
I am patient and non-demanding and recognize the difficulty in creating the perfect game. I try to insure that any adverse comments that I make are designed to provide constructive criticism that might help improve the game.
I honestly try NOT to engage in personal vendettas against other Matrix forum members. I try and forget past disagreements and not carry them forward into every thread that person posts. Yes, I have engaged in a few flame wars in the past and I hereby apologize to anyone who I have offended and swear to try and avoid that in the future.
Finally, for the New Year...
Let's all forgive and forget past transgressions and move forward in a spirit of comradeship, trying not to find hidden nuances to take offense at, and trying sincerely not to give offense to others. Honest debate and disagreements are fine, personal attacks are not.
Is this all too much to hope for?
Love and Peace to you all during this holiday season and may you and your families be blessed with a prosperous New Year.
