Well, I think I found something interesting. It seem that it is just graphical problem, as my sub just attacked (and hit!)enemy AK by firing torpedoes from damaged tubes. See pic before and after attack:

Oh yes, and they send the torps from the damaged tubes..
I am happy because this means I did not go crazy... and my subs did the same ;)

That is *GREAT* news!! It's graphical clitch then..plus some problem with repair routine..since subs showing that damage won't repair the last point of sys damage. But if tubes work..I'm happy even if they stay with sys 1.

Is any one know if this is to be fixed in a future patch? I have quite a few subs sitting in port waiting for their tubes to be fixed. I am glad to hear that it maybe a graphics issue, but fixing it would be nice.

Yes, it would be nice if all glitches and bugs can be fixed... but the big problem is actually getting good SAVES of the bugs (BEFORE and after)... it is the before part that is the problem. Most people here are not obsessive-compulsive to keep saves of turns except for their current one, and when you need TWO people to send saves (I.e. - PBEM) it becomes downright difficult.

So: use up some disk space, folks, and maybe progress in fixing glitches and bugs will progress faster!!

I have been keeping a save of each turn in my pbem, so far.  I'll try to keep the most current 30 days of turns, and one at the beginning of each month, as an archive.

I have an S-Boat with this display glitch and its a game against the AI, so no worry about passwords and such.  Problem is that I "retired" all the S-Boats to San Diego long time ago and I have no idea when a "before" save would be (at this point it could be as much as a year ago game time and I'm just not going to dig thru 350+ save games for it).  Otherwise I'd dig thru the archived saves that Bodhi's Utility creates.  Let me know if you want the "after" save though.

I think I have 5 such broken boats in my current game with Moses - so no shortage of saves - just needs some "priority" !!! But now that I hear from here that they might just "appear" to be broken maybe I'll send them out for a patrol and see if they function. I had been moving them around from port to port to try to "jog" them into repairing.

I tried that with this sub. Didn't do anything.
