If FoF was written by Monty Python...:
The Union could build large wooden rabbits. Oh and you'd have to have coconut farms instead of horse farms.... and the south would be limited to five ships... no three sir....

Clearly the comment was meant in a light hearted manner and I suspect it has already produced far more drama than Gil could ever have imagined.
No, this is pretty much just what I expected.
At least it keeps people busy, so that they won't instead be making critical comments on the CSA navy.

The Navy in my bath tub that just assailed me!! That Navy!! And you don't want to know where those misreable and STRANGE Reb Subs tried to go!!
AHHHHH!!! Happy New Year!!! I have to lay on the floor in Detroit so I don't get zapped when all the neurotice macho-stupid types start shooting-off their weapons, some are automatic I may add. Stupid and dangerous in the hands of such nerds and whackos.
The New Year *Duck* is arriving, and there is afterall a Thanksgiving Turkey and a Chistmas Cooked Goose. I like fried pierogies and dumplings anyway.
Happy New Year!!! Chris

Getting back to the original topic... On another thread I just provided the following info on the patch:
I wrote elsewhere that we're targeting early Januaryish, but mid-Januaryish is not unrealistic. But there will be a lot of enhancements and changes, so the time this is taking will prove to be justified.

Will we be able to patch and then continue a PBEM game from the prior version?
I'm guessing this will not be possible.

No, I don't think so. Anytime changes are made to what goes into the save files it is impossible to continue old games, and I think at least one new feature will require reconfiguring saves.

I think he was reacting to the little note in parentheses at the bottom right of your previous message that said "(in response to christolf139)"
Any message in a thread is listed as "in response to" the previous poster, unless it specifically quotes an earlier post.

Ha ha ha!! Beats me, I don't know.
Yes, I saw that "in response to" and was wondering if the system just put that there in a contiguous manner following each post or otherwise. I actually haven't noticed it before in other threads, but probably missed it.
Thanx for the explanation.
Chris

A test for me.
Yes, it is contiguous or linerally progressive or whatevr, just can't think of the more appropriate word at the moment.
Thanx, Chris
