Well, I sure hope that is what is happening! His transparency is pretty high (because Russia invested heavily in spies in the beginning of the game) and I can see 90% of the German forces…..not too scary at this point. My hope is that he counterattacks into Kiev from Rumania so I can smash his last large force with my Southwest Front out of Kharkov. I'm kind of dreaming about that though, I'm sure he won't make it that easy. Have to wait to get home to find out!

As expected, my opponent did not advance any significant forces into Rumania, only 2 armor, which were promptly destroyed. The (screenshot battle) pretty much followed the odds (darn mountains!) but I was disappointed nonetheless (the rough terrain offset my CA bonus.) Edit, no screenshot availableths was in N Persia, 2 GE INFs and an ARM versus a CA team of Russians plus extra INF, Russia did not occuppy but did hurt 2/3 Germans.
In the Pacific the party is well and truly over, there is a massive flotilla (those 8 CVs I alluded to earlier) parked in Manila Bay (the Japanese never took old King PHillip's islands...) There is a TF chain running across the Pacific, 2 lanes wide, in fact, my whole world is connected by TFs except just off Java.
In the Atlantic, the U-Boats are effectively beaten, though the 8th AF is still very weak, 2 turns from now the first HBs will roll into action, until then, all I can do is keep hurting his air forces. The Russians only took E Prussia and Kiev (re-re-re-recaptured, poor city, probably looks like Berlin in 45....) and moved forces forward for next turn. The supply drain is huge and I am only able to produce 45 per turn because of tech spending-the WA is not helping with supply either, they need it for the naval ops.
A fairly blasé turn, I hope Erik makes a misstep next turn so I'll be able to do something important, because if he does not, next turn will be very calm.
Darn, the screenshot file is too large, need to reduce the image quality or makeit smaller....[:o]

Looks like Germany is going down in 4 turns max....
The flotilla is now parked off Japan......might try a landing next turn......
Depending on the deployments in France, might make a landing there too.
This has been a fun game, but I think the outcome is no longer in doubt.

OK, GKAR, this one is for you:
Fall 1943 saw a WA landing in Kyushu, a build up the turn after and curtains for Japan in Spring 1944. The cool thing about that is that the whole US Pacific CV force was sitting off Tokyo - 11 CVs with attached CAGs, half of them vet and elite, it was beautiful. The Russians grind West one territory at a time, stopping in W Poland for 2 turns in order to build up forces for taking East Germany - which falls in Summer 1944.
Something I noticed that did not help Erik:
Halfway repaired resources - I think he might not have known that resources are only counted if they are totally undamaged, anyway, he halfway repaired a bunch of resources and that was not helping his econ.
