I am more of a Classical music fanboy here (Beethoven, Handel, Mozart, etc) and I do like military marching music too. Oh, and country's national anthems......

......And perhaps other tunes but really, that is my genre. [:D]

My first career was music ... RnR Guitar ... then symphony ... sax, guitar, piano ... then OMG "country" (which I used to hate!) .. but then I became math guy .. then computer guy and now I just play my guitar and piano for pleasure ...

But I like Baroque Strings ... that is my current craze ... but of course .. I only like one kind of music .... GOOOD music !!! [:D]

Pauk, I found it very hard to say what type of music I like so I have just listed my music drive. This gives a good snap shot of what I like. I think there is something for everyone, except possibly Mynok. I'll show my age and say I have no idea what Baroque and Renaissance is.

U2 are my favourite band. Seeing them in concert at Twickenham in 2005 is a concert I will not forget.

I agree with KDonovan about Floyd. I never had the drugs to really apprecaite it. With that said I love band member Justin Heywood's "Forever Autumn".

I have Time Life's Classical Thunder collection. I can't stand the mellow classical stuff but I love this collection. 1812 ovature with the speakers way up is great. [&o]
