CENTPAC:

The United States has reinforced Midway, Johnston, Palmyra and Canton with infantry and CD units to help protect the sea lanes to Australia.

The first convoys from the West Coast arrive in Honolulu carrying over 200 fighters and bombers. Obsolete B-18 Bolos are being upgraded to B-25s and are staging their way across the Pacific. Seven of the BBs damaged in the Pearl Harbor attack have safely reached California and are now undergoing repairs and upgrades.

AKs and TKs that fled the Philippines at the start of hostilities have sailed all the way across the Pacific and are just now reaching the Hawaiian Islands.

Defeated Allied Units Retreating!

In just a couple of days the Allies have been wiped out in Mindanao and have been forced back to their final defensive positions at Corregidor and Manila in Luzon. The strategic situation in the Philippines has deteriorated dramatically for the Allies.

Seems that PI is going to be overrun in a matter of days... hopefully some Air Units will be saved[:)]

Yava.....no worries about Fortress Manila...it should hold out at least into February 1942. The main issue with the early withdrawal fom Clark Field and Lucena was the loss of over 10,000 supply that was left behind.
