Although... to be fair... it is a widely known fact that Prince Klemens von Metternich was forced to abdicate due to nationalist revolts in Hungary for making the very same joke... [:'(]

im beginning to dread national pride discussions!!
anyone on here who says 'UK is this', 'US is that' is just dealt with apathy, 'yawn, yeah whatever, whens the game coming out?'
Meddle with an Eastern European and his country and youre in for some serious finger wagging and abuse. Maybe thats a good thing, be proud, but lighten up, we're just queueing up for a game here.

True. Pride in one's country is admirable. But lets not take it too far.

I'm from rural America and you should hear what we refer to as "Country Music," which is basically an affirmation of all the above "negative" traits set to twangy guitar music and performed by a guy in a tank top (we call these "wife-beater" shirts where I am from) wearing a 10-gallon hat that covers nearly 90% of his head.
