And that's just fuel. Each strike KB launches uses up supplies and you have to dock to top them up. You will see the sortie rate drop off dramatically until they have replenished (but not CAP, this iirc is to simulate using up the bombs and torps).

Not too much happening, Jap subs are still active around Pearl, my ASW troops scored a couple of reported hits so hopefully I'll be able to start driving them off, the KB's still lurking to the north east of Pearl but the sortie rate seems to have dropped (Replenishment problems? Hopefully) They did however cripple one of my DMS's operating in an ASW group.
Troops have landed at Rabaul - I have most of the Australian and NZ navies heading there at flank speed hoping to intercept some of the unloading transports (they appear to be landing without air cover as I've spotted his CVL's NW of the Phillipines).
Manila and Clark field were heavily raided, the P40's at Manila did well achieving a better than 1:1 kill ratio against a raid escorted by Zeroes.(have they toned down the Zero bonus in one of the patches?). Clark was hit hard and is all but shut down, I've transferred surviving aitcraft to Manila/Bataan.
Miri fell to the Japs, but Hong Kong and Alor Star held out, however Hong Kong's forts have been destroyed and I fear it will fall tomorrow so key personnel have boarded subs in order to evacuate.
On a side note, I'm still not seeing the combat whilst my opponent is? Wierd I've checked all my preferences[:@]

Watch out for that Rick. In my other PBEM, my opponent went after one of my damaged CVs. He thought the ship went to Kwajalein and flooded the area with subs. 15 sunk subs later, he gave up. The carrier wasn't there. [;)]
When you concentrate subs in a small area, the enemy ASW forces can concentrate and do major damage. Now, if KB is east of PH, you may be able to pull it off. Just be careful.
That's a point, however:
1) This time we know there are CV's there.
2) If HMS Resolution wants to concentrate his ASW assets at a point half-way between Pearl and the West Coast, by all means let him!

Nothing much to report - Clark field has been virtually shut down by massive air raids, Hong Kong fell as expected, and the Japs advanced into Burma.
