RE: RHSEOS-AI TFs being sent to river port bases

EOS is based on a historical Japanese plan. This plan was not implemented when the war began, as you know - but two days later Adm Yamamoto said it should have been. The historical Battle of Midway was the implementation of the replacement plan - one that never went anywhere - as you also know. This was pretty much unknown until the Japanese official history got published - and still is not well known because few read Japanese (never mine 100 volume plus dull and boring official histories). The game code is not clever - and it is difficult to set a mod so that it takes Oahu - but I expect to get there some day. These bases are all important parts of the process - and only the last step is missing. But I am not working on that just now. Human player should be able to do it fine - and players vs AI probably don't really want to lose Oahu anyway.
There is not - and can not be - any impact on Burma ops. The forces committed did not change. The map has changed - and that seems to be a problem in a sense - also an asset (just depends on your point of view). We changed the map to make Burma more defensible - and it is - so it is - and that is that. Nothing whatever to do with battles in the Pacific. It is more correct - and you won't see AI do well in any land areas at all.
