As can be seen I answered the 1940 invasion of Russia with a WA landing in Spain. Its imperative that I bring the WA forces to put pressure on Germany and I feel that Spain is both the safest and strongest pressure I can find. Russia will certainly crumble and fall if I dont manage to get a real second front for the Germans. With a strong enough WA in the west I can even survive losing most or all of Russia but its a close race.

I agree with you 100% Jan. I am in a similiar game with him, it's now Su42, and he made a lot of progress up til now. Russia is still holding, but the Japs made a huge amount of progress. The game is really quite close. and I regret not opening a front in Portugal. I invaded Norway in Fa40 instead, and then Sweden. Portugal->Spain seems like a better option... but perhaps they both have their ups and downs.

The imperial English troops conquer .. err liberate Western France. The attack had a 75% chance of success and did indeed succeed although at slightly worse casulties than predicted from my point of view. I am certainly not complaining though as getting the area was the important thing.

Stalin has almost stopped screaming about a second front - almost.
I obviously repair a French factory so that the sons of France may once more fight the Boches.

and my attack in the east was not good at all, two tanks got autohited![:@] i think we'd call them autohissia instead of russia......high evasion seems useless while facing militia autohits[:@][:@][:@]
seems like above 80% of my troops are autohited......
the only thing go on well is the proceeding of japan cause no defence there[&:]

autohis going on, but also quite lucky that i survived, very impressive picture[:D] 79 attack, very high score in early time like 1941, and survive from it is another miracle[;)]

JAN's not attack again. but i saw strong forces gather in paris and Kakorv. and i respond with my counter deploy. maybe he doesn't wanna attack in winter, which might be quite bad choise cause i suffered the consequence of attack North Ural, and replaced 6 milis with 3 ARTs, quite stupid bargin, eh?[:o][:o][:o][:o]

JAN attacked in winter!!![X(] the report shows that although the losses were quite same, but nfortunately for Germany, it lost quite many ARTs while the allies got all damaged instead of destoryed[:@] that maybe the cornerstone[:(]
not until now do i find that JAN's the first prize winner of the tournament, maybe i find the wrong guy to do a AAR, have to do it hard and fully devoted now, i see no victory of Axis while facing experianced veteran allies players, can i make it?[:D]

another battle occured in kharkov, which i gain some advantage of it. i guess i can take kharkov the next turn to compassate my breaking heart of withdrawing from eastern france[;)]
