Hello Jason,
I'll be glad to help - experienced playtester going all the way back to SPI in NYC (1976!)...half-decent CS-er, learning all the time

If there is still room for a UK based tester I'd like to be in.
Have been a Wargamer back to SPI (SPUK as their office here was called)and Avalon Hill. Also acquired all the original CS games after wiping drool off face!
At the moment I am off work on extended sick leave so have time on my hands
Regards

Jason:
I am ready willing and able. Been playing the game ever since it came out. Familiar with the files as I do mods on them.

Jason,
As a new player, I would be very happy to help.
I may be able to bring some insight as I do not know how everything works or how it should work.
This could help make new Tutorials and How To Sections easier for first time players.
Plus I used to QA Medical software, and was a Trouble Shooter for Compaq, tracing down hardware and software defects.
I am 40 years old, been playing War games from 17 on, played with the 101st when I lived in TN, the base was on the border of KY.
I now own way too many board games
If I can help, let me know.
Lee

Been there done that ... EF - re-checked all the scenarios prior to inclusion in EF2 for TS (with a team I set up). A bit of late EF2 testing, WF wrote some of the unit test (the stuff you read when you press F2), testing and scenario design - including LCG, RS likewise testing and design until the date of the Great Escape. [;)]
You know where I am if I can be of help.
FWIW also did a tiny bit of testing for PzC before spending time with Charilie at Breakaway Games on Waterloo and Austerlitz and am familiar with the principles of NDAs having signed a few in my time.

We had an informal NDA on PzC. I used to harass Charlie form time to time but haven't seen him in a few years.

I spoke with him last Christmas ... well not 2006 it was back in 2005 I think Steve L was still over with him as was Bob (technically) but he was still working on simulations for the military - I think. Certainly that's what he was doing whilst the rest of us were playing Napoleonics.

Looking through the credits you only see a handful around these days. I lost track of Bevard after his work on DG. Good to see Matrix getting everyone back together. I looked for Sheppard but to no avail.

Yup, I'll tell you what kicked all this off for me. I was having a "sort out" of old disks a few months ago, found WF and fired it up, popped over to the Blitz to see if it was still going (it is) and jumped in.
Lo and behold I'm now playing a few chaps I haven't spoken with in years including Loza - one of the original "Scenario Squad" who helped re-evaluate/test the EF scenarios for EF2. And of course I saw Jason over there, one thing lead to another and here I am ... Small world ...
I'll tell you who I haven't spoken with in ages, Dave Hickman, believe it or not we were writing a book together and then it would appear we had a bit of a falling out over something I said and he misheard a couple of years ago. It'd be nice to get back in touch with him and see if I can heal the wound ... if someone has a current email.

Never been a beta (or any other kind of) tester before. Sounds like fun. Count me in, if you are still in need of recruits. Cheers.

What the hell.
I do not play golf. My wife says CS keeps me from interrupting her TV shows & she knows I am not out drinking or buying hookers. [8|]
I have played CS since EF was introduced. I found PBEM a few years ago & am a steady player at the Blitz. I do not know anything about computer codes, but I do sell on Ebay so anything is possible.
My life? College football stats in 2 1/2 months. I will be in Athens on Saturdays w/ road trips to Bama, Tenn & Vandy this year. I do love my dawgs!
