The General and I played the last two nites, using one of his Midway scenarios. I would say that a good time was had by all, but that would imply a picnic cruise or something, which this clearly is not. We played the same scenario both times and went 1/1. I was kind of surprised, the game ran smoothly and outside of my not being current on my version went without a hitch. Thanks General!!

Thanks Random_Rail. Yes, it was fun. Its too bad the US is very overmatched in the Turn 4 Midway battle. IMO, the US only has like a 10% chance of winning the battle. Alot of luck is needed. But the scenario is created based totally off the strat map. So as you can see, I have played the US poorly(way too aggresive IMO) in the campaign. Plus, it doesn't help with the IJN pilots so effective. Hopefully (with enough interest), a new campaign will start soon. Ok, back to AAR.....
Hopefully, the USN pilots can get lucky and can return the favor with even more damage.

Day 2 10:30.....So with no luck again, I decide to give the orders for a General Withdrawl. The invasion is cancelled and attempt to retreat all forces off the map.
Day 2 13:15 (top pic).....Second enemy airstrike is spotted inbound!
Day 2 14:50 (remaining/result pics).....The airstrike hits home and its bad

So with a little luck, I was able to reach east board edge with all forces and not suffer any additional damage. Final damage/sunk ship status pic below
