Great. My starting QB (Eli Manning) gets injured the first week. [:@]
Injuries can kill you in this game.
Also this observation, Vebber just happens to get Peyton Manning in the training wheel league. [:'(]

Injuries STINK. Especially when coaches are trying to be vague. I'm waiting and hoping the freakin' Jets decide to let a few FACTS emerge about Pennington...I'd like to know the status of my backup QB!

Looks like I will be moving to 2-0 in the HoF league, kicked Vebs butt week one, and the Bay Area Knightmares this week.

Looks like I'll be 0-2...despite having Carson Palmer this week. AAAGH! Tonight's Monday nighter features 3 starters from my opponent...it shall be a slow, painful death.
Yet, sickly...I love it.

I got to play against Carson Palmer and Steve Smith on the same team this week. Ow. ow. Looks like I might end up scoring high enough to beat every team except the one I actually was playing this week, after losing week 1 542 points to 545! Ah well, there's always next week... [;)]

Yeah, that is what us Dolphin fans say too, except it still hurts each week. And my fantasy team looked good on paper (I'm in another league), but it has been declared by me a dog.
I want to redraft and start over...

Well, the team won after all...1-1, baby!
Oh, and as a Jaguars fan, I am not exactly looking forward to the remainder of this season. Ugh.

I can't get back to my team. I got lazy and was using the autolink thing from Yahoo and it booted me. I could swear my manager name was benn44 but it won't let me back in...neither will the password retrieval thing work as it calls up some old sign in.
Can someone go to the Matix classic league and find out what the manager name for Mandrake's Maulers is? [:D]
BTW...I do realize I sound like a luddite.

Man oh man...one of those weeks. My runners combined for 240 yards. Antonio Gates catches 11 balls. Brandon Marshall catches 7 or 8 for over 130...and not one of them touches the end zone. Argh.

I feel your pain man. Every player in single digits last week and this week the only player in double digits is my kicker [:D]
I am five points aghead going into tonight's game and my opponent has only a kicker playing. If he makes 2 field goals I lose....uggh

I'm enjoying both leagues a lot currently (hall of fame & pro) .. always nice when everyone stays active, making moves, etc etc from week to week. Like i've always believe though, fantasy football is in my opinion 5% player knowledge of NFL players, 5% weekly matchups, and 90% luck (on the field luck and players not getting injured luck)
btw, keep me in your thoughts guys. I'll be having open heart surgery on Oct. 22nd. Just send happy wargaming thougths my way!
-Chad (Bay Area Knightmares baby!) =)

I would hereby like to thank my opponent this week for starting Matt Leinart over Daunte Culpepper. Thanks for that. I'm not going to get too smug yet, though...he has Sammy Morris and Randy Moss against Cincy's excuse for a defense tonight. Even though I still have a couple starters going, as well, one of them is banged up, and the other is Carson Palmer, trying to deal with New England's D. Ick.
And I hope everything goes okay for you, chadandpia. Good luck, man.
Edit : Jesus...from 80 some points up to a whopping 4 point win...that was the most stressful Monday Night Football ever.

Okay...I don't know who's running the Redskins, but, dude, we are combining for about the butt ugliest Fantasy Football game of all time. Good lord, do our teams chew this week!

You could have Eriks Classic team ... he was gunning to be the first team to have a negative total score until his kicker came through
