I want my Yankees to win it all (obviously)
I absolutely do not want the Red Sox to win (also obvious)
I would rather an NL team win the WS than an AL team not named the Yankees.
I hope the Rockies do well... They've only been to the playoffs once before. (And it would be great to have the AL MVP vs. the NL MVP)
But secretly I wish for a Yankees-Cubbies WS... because thats the only way I'll get to see my Yanks play (I'm from New Orleans and thus have no team to claim, but my dad grew up on Long Island and is a major Yankees fan. However, I'm currently living in Indiana.)

Sox all the way. How can you bet agaisnt the Rockies the way they been playing. And now that Coors and Miller are going to merge, Coors field will be Miller Park West. SOx in 6 over the Injuns and then in 5 over the Rockheads. With Papi hitting a 600ft hme run in that thin air... My only disappointment this year was the Bew Crew getting knocked out. At least tey helped take the Padres down with them... [:-]

And if the Yanks have any third baseman they want to gt rid of, we'll BE GLAD to take them [;)]

Fortunately, there's always good news and bad news to come out of a baseball season.

Bad News: My Marlins are done for the season.

Good News: So are the Braves and the Yankees.

Bad News: Boston has lost 3 in-a-row.

Good News: Boston will win 3 in-a-row and make it to the WS.

See? Told ya.

Hey Shaun,

I just saw Manny hit a long single for the Red Sox to take the lead. You a Manny fan or do you want him out of Boston with his attitude? He was a great player here in Cleveland, but we don't miss his boneheaded plays. He usually makes up for them eventually but they can really hurt in playoff games like this. (Not sure myself if call was right though. It did look like it hit the top of the wall and bounced back which would not be a HR at Jacob's Field but I am not so sure it didn't hit the wall behind the padding and bounce back.)

Looks like I'll be paying for my copy of the next PureSim!!

Good Luck Boston. I don't think the Rockies will be able to run with you but you never know.

Just a couple of notes though.

Lofton was safe at 2nd and Skinner should have sent him home the next time he was on base. At the end though, I don't think it will really matter. (6-2 Bases loaded in the bottom of the 8th)

Maybe that is something that can be simmed as well as far as the umpires go. Have a text line about a bad call by the umpire in managed games. That would really drive us all nuts when we are managing and a call goes against us.

Now the fans and the Boston Red Sox are the American League Champs ... Congratulations ... the Rockies will pose a more serious challenge (nothing [:-] to take away from the Indians) it's because of the Rockies speed and the seemingly unstoppable winning attitude ... what a matchup!! ... can't wait to see what BASEBALL has to offer again ... a little side notes - isn't the Patriots awesome ... [:D]

Life is good in Boston these days, ain't it?

Sox in WS, Pats ripping it rip, Celts poised to make a run with the big 3, and even the Bruins are off to a good start.

Boy, I envy you guys. Here in No Calif., the sports landscape is abysmal.

Cleveland isn't as bad as usual. Indians in the ALCS, Cavs in the NBA Finals, and even the Browns are at .500 now (at least as of today). To top it off, Ohio State is #1. We get an AFL franchise this year too!!!
