Capturing cannons: over-running a battery does NOT guarantee a capture. An overrun cannon may be damaged or simply lost. The capturer may not have horses to use it. This is modeled by making gun capture random. It is never guaranteed. Captured guns appear as replacements, reinforcements are fixed in composition, only the timing may vary.
