Looks good. Did not see the victory conditions. Do the Czechs win if they hold out for a certain length of time? Not sure if this covered elsewhere.
In current version you need hold 84 of 87 VP (Germany starts with 21 VP)
I'll plan change victory conditions for Germany somewhat. Within 10 days they should hold Prague or Brno, within 14 days they should hold 65 VP and after three weeks (21st October) they should win ... I'll see after this PBEM battle how to tweak it

Definitely Czechs do not run out of steam.
Several counterattacks in Bohemia, Fast divisions hit hard Wehrmacht units. Only fanatism of SS units hold the line.
SS-Inf.Regiment "Germania" was almost anihilated.
----
Turn 6
Defenders from northern Moravia retreat from all sectors. Ostrava was seized without resistance. Two Schutzen regiments from 3.Panzer Division encircled retreating forces, two regiments captured and three others badly mauled.
VIII.AK finished off encircled units from previous day and now advancing south.
After counter attack north of Prague I need quickly stabilize front and push forward to regain initiative. Most units were tired from previous days and they need rest and refit. 12.Infantry Division under command of Generalleutenant Ludwig von Leyen pushed enemy units behind Elbe river and secure good position at Elbe and Jizera river junction.
Attack south of Prague in small gap within inner foritfication circle was succesfull and as a result, south defence line near Příbram (Freiberg in Böhmen) was quickly captured.
Twelfth Army advance was halted by strong resistance. Reorganized units resumed attack on main axis, directly to Budějovice. Fortification just south of the city was overhelmed and captured.
Supposed breakthrough from encirclement east of Bratislava was not bad as expected, German units are in a good fighting shape and quickly advancing east to Slovakia. Other units outflanking Czech V.Corps and I hope that I could capture some units next day.

No massive actions this turn. Only local, well prepared, counterattacks and artillery bombardment. But casualties are high and enemy lost only two bombers and few infantry.
----
Turn 7
Defenders retreating from all positions in Moravia, units of Eighth and Fourteenth Army will join tomorrow.
VIII.AK advancing in wide line reached more favorable terrain and its threat should keep a lot of czech regiments in place.
II.AK crossed Elbe river from north Bohemia. Attempt to conquer Veltrusy airfield by airborne operation utterly failed.
South of Prague I captured Příbram and moped up several rear-guard units. Luftwaffe was beaten off by concentrated anti aircraft positions around Prague. 13. and 17.Infantry Divisions attacked only with artillery support. Fortified defence line west of Prague was breached but following attack of Generalleutenant Otto's 13.ID directly to the city was repulsed after fierce street fighting.
Czech army retreated from Budějovice, Twelfth Army gained only deserted area.

Czechoslovak Army blew up several key bridges across Morava river. West bank of Vltava river was abandoned, new defense line established east of Prague.
----
Turn 8
Eighth Army joined up with List's Army attacking from the south. Retreat routes to Slovakia are blocked. Luftwaffe relocated to Olomouc, airfields in Silesia was too far away.
VIII.AK moved close to Hradec Králové, no offensive actions planned though. Units made contact with II.Corps (AOK 2).
Concentrated anti aircraft positions around Prague prevent me from massive use of Luftwaffe, I rely on artillery support now. Hard push against defenders of Prague. Generalleutnant Erich Raschick sent his troop to secure Prague castle, first unit that race through empty narrow streets up to the castle was recon batalion from his own 4.Infantry Division.
Enemy retreat from south Bohemia allow connection of unis from Tenth and Twelfth Army. They now push Czech units north and south of Tabor to and I want quickly reach Sázava river.
Bad mistake during operations on Moravian borders led to loss of one armored regiment from 1.Leicht Division. Radio operator responsible for relying wrong orders was sentenced to death.
Area under Czechoslovak control is very small now, justBohemian-Moravian Highlands and nearest surrondings.

As Czechs was cut off from Slovakia and Prague captured, supply situation is now critical. Only Artillery barrage this turn. In my turn I check units with good recon, they are low on movement points or without movement at all.
----
Turn 9
III.AK advanced to Brno from north. 14.Infatry Division (General Peter Weyer) seized former Czech High Command location - Račice chateau near Vyškov. Rest of AOK 8 prepared positions north-east of the city for next day attack.
Demolition works on all access roads continued, another bridge near Hradec Kralové blew up. Advance was slowed but under great commander - General von Manstein - 18.Infantry Division captured the city and keep in contact with enemy. One bridge across Elbe river was later captured intact.
Second Army was not able to breakthrough enemy positions and only pushed czech regiments south.
IX.AK achieved finally some success. Broke through positions of 14th Motorised Division and encircled Tábor. Defenders was without any chance. Decimated by air strikes, artillery bombardment and finally they were anihilated by overhelming forces.
List's Fourteenth Army only regroup this turn.

Enemy resistance was crippled.

My resistence is near to over ... so I opened this thread ...It was short but nice battle. Like Czechoslovak main commander I must say, that main problem for RCS army is lack of supplies ... from 4th turn most of my units was without supply with lowered readness ... If I made some small counterattack after this date, it was only by redirection of some supplies to specific army ...Another problem is German air supperiority, but it is historical fakt and Czechoslovak player must live with it ...Arkady is planning make some corrections to scenario ... than I think it will be really nice scenario ... and we will see if experienced player will be able hold German war mashine [8D]

Excellent AAR, thanks Arkady and Matto! I was of course rooting for the Czechs but unfortunately I think they're in a very tough spot, as they were historically.

The Scenario looks GREAT Arkady - I'm anxious to see you tackle some other scenarios - maybe something more strategic than operational perhaps - but you are definitely someone who we need to do more scenarios!

Arkady,
Are you going to post the final version on the AT community website. More people will find it there I think.
I havn't had a chance to check it out yet...I want to finish my AAR before I get to involved in another scenario.
I'm finding it hard to wait though.[:)]
