Thanx wheat. As you can see this has been a very slow moving game. We started it in December.
SMK(Scandinavia) is a seasoned player and he has slightly more production than I. If I manage a victory over him I will still have to deal with a lot of other strong players. Not the least of which is Balkins(Tom Weber). He has the largest and strongest power under his control now, and he personally is arguably the best AT player out there. But Barthheart is no push over. He can give Tom a good run before he goes down.
Who knows. He may still be going at it with Tom when and if I finish off SMK.

Germany pushes further into Russia. Lenningrad and Moscow are now in sight. Scandinavia is in full retreat now.

Balkin backstabbers!!!!

Germany has been betrayed by these warmongers.
My rather successful advance against the Scandinavian forces in Russia must have gotten the Balkin Empire worried that the superior Forces of Germany would grow to strong with all those Viking production centers and threaten Balkin existence. It may have been a wise move to strike when I'm vulnerable, but it is also dastardly

Scandinavia will live...
With all my forces engaged with the Viking armies I had to make a choice. Continue my advance in Russia and try to slow Balkin forces in Central Germany long enough to defeat Scandanavia in Russia gaining those production centers and losing the ones I have in Germany. Only thing is I have a bone to pick...

Balkin forces had a field day meeting almost no German resistance. I had to scramble to put up some road blocks while I redeploy my forces back to Germany. Right now I don't care if Scandinavia overruns half of my Empire as long as I get to punish some Balkin forces in the process.
My Goal now is not victory. My goal is to hammer the Balkin forces with everything I got and buy time for the rest of the world to grow strong enough to defeat them.

Germany has recaptured Prague.
With most of my forces in a position to launch a counter offensive against the Balkin forces. I will strike his flank with everthing I have. This could very well lead to a total collapse of Tom's Italian front in Northern Italy. German forces are probably stronger then what Tom's was thinking and my response to his traitorous attack on my Nation will be stronger then what he expects.

Your Germans look strong indeed, but i´m sure Tom has some nasty tricks to handle them.
Don´t think he showed you his real strength already.
Good AAR, Iron.
